What BloodRaw collects — on this website and when we film — and what we do with it. In plain English.

1.Who we are

BloodRaw is a mobile media and marketing company based in Houston, Texas, also working in Dallas. If you have any questions about this policy, email us at bloodraw996@gmail.com.

2.If you contact us

Our quote request form asks for your name, business name and type, city, email, phone number (optional), what you're interested in, and anything else you choose to tell us. The pop-up tent request form asks for similar details plus your event date and venue.

When you send either form, your details come to our email inbox, and we send you an automatic copy. We use them only to reply to you and to handle your inquiry or booking. The emails are delivered by Resend, an email service that handles them for us and doesn't use them for anything else.

If you email us directly, we receive your email address and whatever you include, and use it only to reply and handle your inquiry.

3.Email updates

If you sign up for emails (in the footer or on the packs page), we save your email address, when and where on the site you signed up, the IP address it came from, and the description of the emails you agreed to. We keep it in our database (hosted by Turso) and send the emails through Resend.

We only use it to email you BloodRaw news: tent dates, new work and offers. We never sell or share it.

Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link, or you can email us. When you unsubscribe, we keep a note that you did, so you're never emailed again by mistake.

4.If we film you

Filming people is what we do. A clip shows your face and voice, records what you said, and is linked to the venue or event and the date.

Before we use a clip, we ask for your permission on a short form: your full name, the venue or event, the date, and a phone number or email. When you send it, we also record the exact time, the IP address it came from and the type of phone or browser you used. We keep that record, including the exact wording you agreed to, as proof of your permission.

That record is saved in our consent database (hosted by Turso, a database service) and a copy is emailed to BloodRaw's own inbox (delivered by Resend, our email service). Only the BloodRaw team can see it. If you give an email address, we send you a copy of what you agreed to. If you withdraw your permission, we keep the record and mark it as withdrawn, so we can show we stopped.

We don't use facial recognition, and we don't create face scans, voiceprints or any other biometric identifiers from our footage.

5.How clips are used and shared

With your permission, we use clips in BloodRaw's own marketing, and we license them to the business where you were filmed so it can use them in its advertising. That business must follow our usage rights rules — for example, it can't edit a clip to change what you said, and it can't sell it on.

Apart from that, we don't sell or rent your personal information, and we don't share your contact details with anyone for their marketing.

6.Visitor statistics

We use Vercel Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are popular. It tells us things like which page you came from, your browser and device type, and roughly which country you're in — not who you are. It doesn't use cookies.

It also counts when one of our forms is sent, with a general label such as which service or tent tier was chosen. It never records what you typed: no names, email addresses, phone numbers or messages.

7.Technical information

Like almost every website, the company that hosts this site keeps standard technical logs — such as IP addresses, browser type and the pages requested — so the site keeps running and stays secure. We don't use these logs to identify you.

To keep spam out without making you solve puzzles, our forms check how quickly they were filled in and limit how often one internet connection can send them. When a form is refused, we log the time, the form, the reason, a partly hidden IP address (the last part removed) and the browser type, and delete those logs after 30 days.

8.Videos from YouTube or Vimeo

Some videos on this site may play from YouTube or Vimeo. Nothing loads from them until you press play. Once you do, that service may collect information under its own privacy policy. We use YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode and Vimeo's do-not-track setting to keep this to a minimum.

9.How long we keep things

Inquiries: as long as we need to deal with them and any booking that follows.

Footage and permission records: for as long as a clip is in use, and for a reasonable time afterwards so we can show that permission was given.

10.Your choices and rights

Email us at any time to:

  • ask what information we hold about you, or for a copy of it
  • correct something that's wrong
  • ask us to delete your information
  • withdraw your permission for a clip

If you withdraw permission for a clip, we'll stop using it in anything new, take it down from our own website and accounts, and tell the business that licensed it to stop using it and take it down too.

If you live in Texas, you may have further rights under Texas privacy law. We'll reply to any request within 45 days.

11.Children

We only ask people who are 18 or older for permission to use a clip. This website isn't aimed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them. If you think a child appears in one of our clips, email us and we'll take it down.

Our social media links go to Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, X and Snapchat. Those sites have their own privacy policies, which apply once you're there.

13.Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information — for example, if we start using a new service — we'll update this page and the date at the top.
