Usage rights

When your business buys clips from BloodRaw, this is what you may and may not do with them. Your order confirms which clips you've bought; this page covers how you can use them.

1.What you're buying

You're buying permission to use the clips — a license — not the clips themselves. BloodRaw keeps the copyright in all footage.

Your license starts once we've been paid in full.

We only license a clip to the business where it was filmed. BloodRaw may also use any clip to promote BloodRaw itself.

2.Who may use the clips

The business named on your order, plus any agency or freelancer working on that business's own marketing. The license can't be passed to another business — if you sell your business, talk to us.

3.What you may do

  • Post the clips on your own website, social media accounts and emails.
  • Use them in paid advertising for your own business, online or offline.
  • Play them on screens in your venue and at your events.
  • Trim them, add captions, your logo, music and on-screen text, and resize them for different platforms.
  • Keep using them for as long as you like, unless a clip is withdrawn (see below).

4.What you may not do

  • Sell, license, lend or give the clips to anyone else.
  • Edit a clip so it changes what someone said or meant, or place it next to something they weren't talking about.
  • Use AI or any other tool to change a person's face, voice or words, or to make new content of them.
  • Post a clip as a review on Google, Yelp or any other review site, or present it as an independent review.
  • Suggest the person works for you, was paid by you, or recommends anything other than what they actually talked about.
  • Use a person's name or personal details beyond what appears in the clip.
  • Use a clip for political campaigning, adult content, or anything misleading, defamatory, discriminatory or unlawful.

You're responsible for following advertising law where you use the clips, including the Federal Trade Commission's rules on endorsements and testimonials.

5.If someone withdraws their permission

The people in our clips can ask us to stop using them. If someone does, we'll tell you in writing. You then agree to stop using that clip in anything new straight away, and to remove it from your website, social media accounts and active ads within 14 days.

6.If these rules are broken

If a clip is used in a way this page doesn't allow, we may end your license for that clip or for all of them. You'd then need to stop using and remove them.

7.Your order comes first

If your written order or agreement with us says something different from this page, your order wins.

8.The law that applies

These usage rights are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
